RetainCall is operated by River Logic, LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service.
Opt-in. Customers of RetainCall subscribers opt in to receive SMS messages by pressing 1 on a voice IVR keypad after their phone call to a participating service business goes unanswered. The IVR prompt that plays before the keypress states the customer's name, the business name, and that pressing 1 means they consent to receive a text message back. No SMS is ever sent without this recorded keypress consent. The full opt-in flow is documented at /tcpa-compliance.html.
What messages are sent. After the keypress, RetainCall sends conversational two-way SMS messages on behalf of the service business to qualify the customer's service request, gather details (problem, address, urgency), offer appointment slots, and confirm bookings. Messages relate exclusively to the customer-initiated service request.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on the customer's responses. A typical service inquiry results in 3 to 10 messages over the course of qualification and booking.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Carrier rates apply per the customer's mobile plan.
Opt-out. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, STOPALL, or REVOKE. Opt-out is processed immediately and applies to all future SMS from that business's RetainCall number.
Help. Customers can request help at any time by replying HELP or INFO. A response with contact information will be sent.
Mobile Information Sharing โ No Sale, No Marketing Sharing. No mobile information (phone number, SMS opt-in data, SMS message content) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information described in this Privacy Policy specifically exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent โ this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates, period. Subprocessors that handle SMS delivery (Twilio) and AI message generation (Anthropic) process this data solely to deliver the Service and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own marketing.
